AC3E role

Wearable device design and stimulation algorithms

Description

A wristband with a small vibrating motor that synchronises its vibration with the wearer's brain waves, a phenomenon known as entrainment, producing positive effects on cognition.

Problem solved

It helps mitigate fatigue among workers operating at high-altitude mines, where thinner oxygen reduces concentration and performance and can lead to accidents.
