Smart Industry
We bring together predictive analytics, artificial intelligence, edge computing, sensing and control to make industrial processes more efficient and more reliable.
We are the Advanced Center for Electrical and Electronic Engineering (AC3E), bringing together the work of researchers, professionals and students from universities across Chile. Our seven lines of research converge on Smart Industry, Energy Transition and Health Technologies.
Results from more than 11 years of applied research
We bring together predictive analytics, artificial intelligence, edge computing, sensing and control to make industrial processes more efficient and more reliable.
We develop energy conversion and storage technologies, electrification and smart grids to integrate renewable energy and help mitigate climate change.
We develop devices, models and algorithms for monitoring and diagnosis, with a focus on personalised, preventive and accessible healthcare.
We connect the scientific and technological capabilities of AC3E with the needs of industry, the public sector and society. Our model allows us to collaborate at different stages of technology development.
We assess whether it is feasible and set out the route towards a prototype.
TRL 1-3We drive applied R&D projects, demonstrations in relevant environments and industrial pilots.
TRL 3-7We work on innovation strategy, intellectual property and the transfer of technology and knowledge.
